Service Description

AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARDING COURSE This is a shallow water (<5 ft) course. Prerequisites include: -50 yd swim, 2 min tread, 50 yd swim. -Submerged Item Retrieval For deep water courses, please check our booking page. 1. This course has an online learning component that must be completed prior to the in-person session. STUDENTS THAT DO NOT COMPLETE THEIR ONLINE LEARNING MAY NOT ATTEND THE SESSION. The link for the online learning is below: https://www.hmsafetycertifications.com/arc-resource-page Or, use the ARC Course Resource Page emailed to students after registering for the course. Students must present their completion of online learning and ID verification on the first day of class. Students will be removed from the session if they do not bring these items. 2. Class will be held 7am-7pm on Friday, and 7am-7pm on Sunday. Class will be held at the following location: Aqua-Tots Swim School 617 Mall Ring Circle Henderson, NV 89014 Students must have transportation to navigate between both sites. A separate email will be provided for the date/time of prerequisites. 3. To pass the course, students must: -Finish the online learning PRIOR to class -Pass the prerequisite swim -Attend all class sessions -Participate in all demonstrations -Complete all assessments, and -Pass the written test with a minimum of 80%. 4. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THE CLASS, including failure to attend without notice, incomplete online learning, improper verification, and failing any part of the course. THERE ARE NO FREE RETAKES FOR THE CLASS. Students may reschedule their course to a future date as long as they notify us by email at any time prior to the course starting. Students removed from the class due to conduct will not be allowed to return. 5. Sections of each course may be photographed or recorded for performance evaluation and social media content development. By registering for a course, students provide consent to be photographed and recorded throughout the course. Students hereby grant to HM SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS LLC its agents, employees, licensees, and successors in interest all ownership rights the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to copyright, use and publish the photographed likeness of students in the course. 6.
