12/4: First Aid/CPR/AED (LV)

Service Description

Our Professional CPR/AED/FA training and certification course covers in depth the skills and responsibilities during a life-threatening emergency. Certified by the American Red Cross, this class covers bloodborne pathogens, legal considerations, victim assessment, First Aid for illnesses and injuries, initial assessment for unconscious victims, ventilations, BVM use, CPR, AED use, multiple rescuer response, and victims with airway obstructions. American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Certifications work for all non-healthcare professions; teachers, social workers, fitness instructors, childcare providers, pool attendants, snow patrol, lab technicians, and everything in between. Certifications are valid for two years. Upon registration for the course, students will receive via email a welcome letter sharing information on the course and containing the online learning links. This course has an online learning component that must be completed prior to the in-person session. Students are only required to complete the online learning for the course they are registered for. It is highly recommended that the online learning is completed on a PC or Mac, using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox as your browser. If you are removed from the class due to attendance or performance, then you will be bumped to a future class to complete your training. Students that are unable to complete the online learning prior to the course will be moved to a future class. However, students removed from the class due to conduct will not be allowed to return. Sections of each course may be photographed or videographed for performance evaluation and social media content development. By registering for a course, students provide consent to be photographed and recorded throughout the course. Students hereby grant to HM SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS LLC its agents, employees, licensees, and successors in interest all ownership rights and the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to copyright, use and publish the photographed likeness of students in the course.
