1/14-1/15: Lifeguarding - (SLC)

Service Description

Our Lifeguarding class covers everything you need to get American Red Cross Certified in Lifeguarding and/or Shallow Water Lifeguarding. Throughout the session, we will cover prerequisite swimming skills, bloodborne pathogens, legal considerations, victim recognition, First-Aid, primary assessment, recovery position, ventilations, airway obstruction, CPR, AED, multiple rescuer response, and aquatic rescue. Upon registration for the course, students will receive via email a welcome letter sharing information on the course and containing the online learning links. This course has an online learning component that must be completed prior to the in-person session. Students are only required to complete the online learning for the course they are registered for. It is highly recommended that the online learning is completed on a PC or Mac, using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox as your browser. If you are removed from the class due to attendance or performance, then you will be bumped to a future class to complete your training. Students that are unable to complete the online learning prior to the course will be moved to a future class. However, students removed from the class due to conduct will not be allowed to return. Sections of each course may be photographed or videographed for performance evaluation and social media content development. By registering for a course, students provide consent to be photographed and recorded throughout the course. Students hereby grant to HM SAFETY CERTIFICATIONS LLC its agents, employees, licensees, and successors in interest all ownership rights and the absolute and irrevocable right and permission to copyright, use and publish the photographed likeness of students in the course.
